Two Things Your Mission Needs

I think by now, most people know the importance of having a mission. Your mission determines the company’s direction and you can use it to remind your team WHY you exist. It’s your north star that provides clarity when making decisions.

There are two things to make sure your mission has. It needs to tell people what you stand FOR and what you stand AGAINST.

For example, two teenage boys, Brett and Alex Harris, started the Rebelution. They believe that even though teenagers aren’t expected to do much until they’re adults, teenagers are actually quite capable of doing awesome things. So their mission is to rebel against low expectations and to do hard things.

For me, I stand for people getting to live out their God-given purpose in life. I stand against the idea that sick is normal. If people are always sick, they can’t live out their purpose! The world needs what you have to offer, so it’s important to take care of your health.

As a chiropractic practice, what do you stand for? What do you stand against?
